1. INTRODUCTION
This Returns Policy explains how returns are handled for Thermomix® products and accessories supplied by Cookmate (Pty) Ltd (“Cookmate”).

3. THERMOMIX® TM7 RETURNS (CONSULTANT SUPPLIED)
3.1 Defective products
Where the purchaser qualifies for protection under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), a statutory warranty of six (6) months applies.
In addition to the statutory warranty, Cookmate provides an extended warranty based on usage:
- Domestic use: two (2) years, provided usage does not exceed 1,100 operating hours in any 12-month period.
- Commercial use: twelve (12) months where usage exceeds 1,100 operating hours.
If a defect is verified, Cookmate will remedy the defect in accordance with applicable law and the warranty terms. If neither repair nor replacement is feasible within a reasonable time, a refund may be considered.
3.2 Change of mind
No returns are permitted for change of mind once the appliance has been delivered, as TM7 sales occur after a consultant demonstration or a voluntary waiver of a demonstration.
3.3 Return process
All returns must be logged by email to customercare@cookmate.co.za with proof of purchase and the serial number. Products must be securely packaged for transport.
Unless the item is proven defective, shipping or courier costs for returns remain the customer’s responsibility.
4. ACCESSORIES RETURNS (ONLINE PURCHASES)
4.1 Cancellation within 7 days after receipt (where applicable)
Accessories purchased online may be cancelled within seven (7) days after receipt of the goods where ECTA applies. The direct cost of returning the goods may be charged.
4.2 Condition of returned goods
Returned accessories must be unused where reasonably applicable, in their original packaging, with all parts and accessories included.
